Understanding Wine


The award-winning Understanding Wine Program offers wine education for adult learners of all levels of wine knowledge.

Our expert instructors use innovative exercises and fine wines to develop sensory skills and to introduce wine and food pairing. The quality of wines tasted will be very good to excellent.

Courses take place year round in both downtown Vancouver at UBC Robson Square and at the UBC Point Grey campus.

 

Fall 2009:

Understanding Wine: An Introduction I
Understanding Wine: An Introduction II
Understanding Beer and Whiskies
   
 

Winter 2010:

Understanding Wine: An Introduction I
Wines of Europe (Four-day intensive)
Wines of BC (One-day workshop)

This program is offered by UBC Continuing Studies in association with the UBC Wine Research Centre, and in partnership with Fine Vintage Ltd, which offers the internationally recognized WSET ® Certification courses.
