Language Programs at UBC

UBC Language Programs and Services has over 30 years of experience in teaching languages to adults at UBC and around the world. We offer programs from beginner to advanced levels in 17 languages. Our programs are taught by native speakers who are professional language instructors. Our students have told us how much they enjoy our programs. In a recent evaluation survey 90% of respondents said they would recommend UBC Continuing Studies language programs to others and 94% said they would continue with their second language learning.

Courses at UBC Point Grey Campus

Classes are held on the third floor of the newly renovated Buchanan D Building.

An informal social event may also be arranged during the session to practise the language in a relaxed setting.
