The Languages, Cultures & Travel division of UBC Continuing Studies offers non-credit conversational courses in over 17 languages at UBC in Vancouver. Join us for part-time courses throughout the year, and full-time summer immersion programs. You can choose from evening, weekend and daytime courses at the both the main UBC campus and downtown at UBC Robson Square.
Enhance your knowledge of world cultures through interactive courses in Understanding Wine and hand-on professional workshops in French Regional Cuisine. Understanding Wine
Four-day Workshop on Wines of Europe
France, Italy and Spain, the three largest wine-producing countries in the world, founded and developed the modern basis for wine-growing and winemaking. This course explores classic wines, looking at major regions, winemaking approaches, and regulations governing wine production.
